FUTREONICA
Futreonica is a musical project established in Edinburgh around May 2011. It includes two different musicians with very different musical backgrounds, that decided to combine their forces in order to create an unique style and blend of music they wanted to make to create awesome space metal opera. They were inspired by Sci-fi movies and books, bands like Pink Floyd, Ayreon, Cradle Of Filth and Carcass. After 4 years of hard work it is the time to come out of the shadow and present themselves to the world with the release of a concept album “Horizons Will Fall”. It tells the story of a future exodus of a mankind in a search of new planet to live. Earth is being ruined and destroyed after exploiting technology and by the calamity caused by time traveller, Herrathion. Eventually they reach their destination. Futreonica presents different styles and influences, telling the story not just by lyrics, but also the music and sound effects.
MALICE
Without his story, lyrics and influence Futreonica would be another simple band. Aged 14 he first picked up a guitar, since then he spent a lot of time evolving his sound and on a quest to find the ultimate guitar tone. Influenced by guitar legends/ idols like Dimebag, Malmsteen, Bill Steer and Eric Calderone, to name a few. he is always striving to learn and improve techniques in order to showcase in the music Futreonica delivers. Inspired by a variety of Metal bands, which is portrayed through the initial instalments of tracks on the Horizons Will Fall Album. He also looks to continually evolve the sound of Futreonica and push the boundaries of the Metal sub-genre.
LE FANU
He started to play guitar at age of 13 and since then music became his greatest hobby and integrated part of life. When he was around 15 years old encountered first simple DAWs like Music 2000 on PSX and started experimenting with composing. With every year, gaining more knowledge and continue to compose, he tried new things and different approaches discovering some new music as well. Gathering more inspiration and ideas he created first real project with his childhood friend – Fanuriel. But that was the beginning. Cause this fail gave birth to Futreonica….
