Techno tracks linked to news-headlines!
Hamburg-based Techno artist Remute has a very ‘technological’ approach to this genre - intense interaction with technology made him do the most amazing things: Remute’s career began in the early 2000s with his first EP ‘Hypnoconsole’ which unmistakably drew inspiration from the flickering world of early 80s and 90s computergames and acid-filled rave-sequences mixed up in a timeless punky DIY-way - even in 2017 ‘Hypnoconsole’ is still considered as a ‘punk techno’ reference by Bandcamp. The success of his first release made Remute tour for years and perform at acclaimed festivals and clubs like for example Golden Pudel and Berghain. Various contemporary high-profile labels got aware of Remute - in 2006 he released his self-titled debut album via the legendary label ‘Ladomat’ from Hamburg. After several further releases on labels like Tresor, Traum, Smallville or Bedrock Remute founded his very own Remute-label in 2008. The first release of the label, ‘Zuendli’, became an instant hit and is considered as one the most successful and celebrated tracks of the minimal techno era of the late 2000s. More punchy club hits and BBC1 favourites like the cheeky acid-house banger ‘Lampuca For Me’ or the spacey open air techno anthem ‘Gravity?’ followed and Remute also became a busy remixer for artists like GusGus, Solomun, Dominik Eulberg or Daniel Avery. Driven by the urge to push the boundaries of TECHNOlogy, it was never enough for Remute to deliver dancefloors hits only. Since the beginning of his career Remute was the sole ruler of his artistic vision and no managers, no agents and no producers were ever allowed to interfere with his work: While others in the early 2010s were busy to jump on the EDM-bandwaggon and took the first opportunity to sell out, Remute devoted himself to commercially risky and artistically uncompromising projects like ‘24’, which is a 24 hour long ambient recording (named by Mixmag as a ‘24 hour anthem’) and ‘REMUTE24’, a series of digital music releases remixing news headlines running for over 6 years, week by week, non-stop. Additionally he released highly successful J-Pop with his song ‘Play The Game’, recorded a Cyberpunk-esque soundtrack for the classic silent film ‘Metropolis’ with his 2014 album ‘Yoshiwara’ (got him ‘Album Of The Month’ honours in Mixmag) and was very active as a soundtrack-producer for several videogames. After over 15 years in music business and countless gigs from Miami to Moscow to Tokio, 2018 is a pivotal year for Remute: His album ‘Limited’, a hybrid release consisting of 7” vinyl and a 3,5” floppy disk, is regarded as a trailblazer of a strong floppy disk comeback… as a valid music format! With some clever usage of technology and creative dealing with the data limitations of this format, Remute once more succeeds in establishing his very own technologic sound aesthetics and setting new distinctive trends for unique performances while constantly questioning the status quo. Besides getting enthusiastically labelled as ‘limited techno’ by CBC, the Los Angeles Times also points out that he is Techno’s only true Disk Jockey - literally.

Simulated ether that collectively grows and evolves. Each pixel is one lifeform among many, each with their own characteristics.
Using a highly efficient loop, Evol Ether allows thousands of pixel lifeforms to move, reproduce, and evolve every second. Colliding pixels exchange energy, destroy each other, and reproduce all in fractions of a second. Color values affect these collisions in that Red trumps Green, Green over Blue, and Blue over Red. There are millions of color combinations. More pixels can be spawned by clicking the mouse anywhere. Scrolling zooms in/out, click and drag to pan.
Each pixel has its own genes passed to its offspring with mutations. These include color values, alteration of colors in offspring, movement patterns, and collision detection. Movement patterns are a limitless table of movements which will evolve. For each child, the table can be expanded with new moves, moves removed, and moves spliced in. All moves are one of 8 directional shifts for the pixel.
Crowding Max sets the maximum neighboring pixels each can have before dying of overcrowding. The higher the Colony variable, the less lifeforms will attack similar colors, and the lower the colony variable, the more they will attack colors closer to their own. Variation represents the probability of a new lifeform to have a mutated color. The Decay factor is a constant reduction of life in each lifeform.

Highway to the Moon is a fast-paced scrolling arcade shooter where you take control of Jacob Helaway, stunt man and thrill-seeker extraordinaire, as he makes his way to the Moon in pursuit of the interstellar criminal known only as the Moon Man. You’ll have your work cut out for you though, because between the Unger Max Gang, Air Traffic Control, Alien Affairs, and Leadersquad, it looks like everyone wants a piece of the Moon Man.
One of this game’s defining features is the highway that it takes place on. The player must do what they can to keep Jake on it while destroying whatever gets in his way. A tall order under normal circumstances, but luckily, Jake has an ace up his sleeve: the Phase Shifter. Using the Phase Shifter, Jake can phase in and out of existence, becoming intangible and unaffected by physics. This allows him not only to fly over gaps in the road but also to pass through bullets unharmed. Using this ability in conjunction with a myriad of powerful and unique weaponry, Jake might just get to the Moon Man first. Are you ready to fight your way to the Moon?

There is not enough air nor enough to fuel to recover from mistakes, or to explore every facet of the ruins in orbit. Jump from wreck to wreck as your life expires, and find what you are looking for - or breath your last breath under the beautiful light of a dying star.
Void is a slow paced scenic suffocation simulator with painterly graphics, creepily tense breathing, and haunting music. Maybe you’ll contemplate dedication, risk, goals, and meaning in your real life. What would you give your life for? Would you give it even if you might not succeed?
Gameplay
Race against the clock of your depleting air supply, spending fuel to add force vectors to yourself - physics students might enjoy this. Optimize your style between spending more fuel to move quickly or conserving fuel to change directions more times to navigate the agoraphobic field of space junk. Select your path wisely to collect more air and fuel resources floating in the environment.
Play two missions, each containing subtle meaning to the life of the protagonist. The player realizes the meaning in the protagonist’s life to win the game.
The pace of the puzzle is controlled by the player’s knowledge and ability - although a “speed run” player might finish the game in a few minutes, the ruins will take many hours to learn and master.

Evol Sim is a realtime Evolution Simulator in an interactive 2d sandbox with extraordinary music. Unique lifeforms grow and compete for survival and reproduction. Each lifeform is made up of segments, all of which use joints and physics for movement and pivoting. The highly-refined and intricate muscle and movement system from Evol Pedal has been brought over for Version 2, with almost all of the core code rewritten. Lifeforms will evolve better movement and structure in order to survive in this harsh environment.
Segments can have any color, each holding different values for Attack, Photosynthesis, and Defense. RGB (0-255) color codes allow for countless color combinations. The more red in a segment, the more damage it will do. The more green a segment has, the more health it will contribute to the lifeform. The bluer a segment, the more damage it can deflect from enemies.
Any amount of lifeforms can be tracked, controlled, fed, copied/pasted anywhere, or killed at the same time. Settings can be adjusted during game-play, and the sandbox will automatically adjust to any window size. Or, set it to Infinite and give them unlimited room. As lifeforms run low on health, their color will fade.
Don’t just watch: Zoom in and out, spawn random lifeforms, add gravity, build walls and dividers, add (Anti-)Gravitrons to attract or repel lifeforms and create unique environments.

Can death be sleep, when life is but a dream,
and scenes of bliss pass as a phantom by?
In the end everyone is asked to
Compose a still life. A place between life and dream.
A play on awareness and fugacity.
Rest or Awake.
What is a good state of consciousness?
Why are we truly doing what we are doing?
Since we are an observer of our experience,
rather than our story, we don’t need to find out.
Otherwise, we live, as we dream - beyond reality.
Depending on one’s choice there are two possible endings.
