Like Jorge Luis Borges said: “The dreams are gender, the nightmares, the species”. Nightmares, “niht mare or niht mare” that means “The demon of the night”, have always something diabolic in them, like someone is trying to break us in our most weak moment, while we sleep. This album is about the fights in which we struggle while our eyes are closed and we cannot escape. They represent our most raw fears and changes us every day after we wake up. Jorge Luis Borges ask himself: “What if nightmares are strictly supernatural? What if nightmares are cracks from hell? What if during the nightmares, we are literally in hell?”

Here is my new album, back to sounds that could be found on Sunset Riders album (Juno, Prophet, Korg Polysix…) still dreamy but a little more powerfull, with a great nostalgia for this period of my life, and the sign of a new departure. With as inspiration, artists like Mitch Murder, The Midnight, Hello Meteor, who are part of my greatest teachers of electronic music, so its an album of which I am particularly proud, I hope you’ll enjoy it!

4 Powerful Tracks of Darksynth by Leslie Nayoko

Although Leslie loves to entertain the mystery, you can read on the Facebook profile “Leslie is no one. Leslie is nowhere. It’s just electrical impulses.”.

You can hear various influences in the Ep I. Space disco, music of video games, and industrial scene, but also small hints of acid techno, chiptune and metal music in the choices of the sounds. Everything is almost always saturated; the breaks are epileptic. It’s dirty, but there’s a certain poetry and a feeling of nostalgia throughout the tracks.

The entity has done some remixes and an original creation for various compilations too, a remix of Robert Parker ‘‘85 Again track’’ for example.

Forced to abandonned a dying planet. A crew is fleeing on board of a prototype spaceship called John after the director of the project who uploaded his mind into the board computer. Their last hope to save themselves and therefore humanity. In this wandering through darkness, the whole crew lost his mind and killed each other or committed suicide. But John is still conscious, floating. He is forever dead in space.

Digital Fingerprints is Wolf Arm’s debut synthwave album. Locked into a set of 80’s synths and drum machines, the composition of Digital Fingerprints takes cues from synthwave greats and retro sci-fi film soundtracks.
